You cannot make alz by standing in front of auction house, or pvp'ing all day. Neither by only focusing on lvling up. Wen your done with the quests, and have no income, your solution is to farm. There are 2 types of farming sets(yes, you need a set if you want to farm).

1. Drop set(1slot or 2slot). 2slot improves the quality, wile 1slot improves the quantity. A balance betwen the 2 is recomended. Remeber, the poorer the set, the less significant improved drops you have. So dont start with this set if you dont have at least honor rank6(so you can get bracelets/earlings). It is also recommended that you farm in partyes. 3-4 party members in drop sets, will give good results. I usualy drop a 2 sloted item every 2-3 days, wen i farm with my guild'smen. Its still based on luck, but it does actualy improve the drop. Remember, a good Drop set may be very expensive, but with time and patience, and with the help of this drop set, you'l end up making 10 times the amount you spent on it. Its a mmo, not a single player. So you need to work together here. Saving, farming, and spending "whise". Thats the secret at having those high kkk's.

2. Alz set. This improves the quantity of alz droped far better then a Drop set, but does not improve the drop(in a significant way). You can easily buy a alz set, since a good alz set is cheaper then a good drop set.


For Skill rank, you need a adept set.
For pvp, you need a damage set.
For alz, you need a drop/alz set.
Its simple as that.

Good Farm locations:

D.T(party) lvl70 dungeons.
At high lvls you can easily solo them, and at the end there are 3 bosses. Dont be scared, they do about the same damage as the normal mobs from the dungeon, and you can kill them as quikly. The items droped(often) from these bosses are eather sloted titan.(200k-400k), UCH, UCM, or 2 sloted armours(helms's, suits, boots, etc.). Sometimes they drop FCH, or cheap amulets/rings, but that happened to me so rare, that i think its irelevent.

Try going to the bosses as fast as you can. After you kill the bosses, leave at least 1 mob, inside the room, alive. This will cause the dungeon to not end, and this will cause the bosses to respawn, in about 6-8 minutes. So you will have 6 definit drops, + the drops from the mobs.

Ruina Station
One of the best places to drop lvl3 disks, which you can use for craftin' , or sell to crafters. Kill the bosses as fast as you can, and grind at the mech buffalo's+, even after you kill the boss(bear) in that place. Grind, and wen there's about 10-8 minutes left of RS, go for the last boss. You never know what the chest can drop :)

Maps(PL, Fort Ruina, UG)
The best way to farm is, in a party.
PL - Golems, Dark Bladers.
FR - Mechzards, MechBuffalo's, Auto Cannon's EX.
UG - Lihorns, Zombies, Dark Soldiers.

You cant always hope on a lucky drop, and alz will not get into your inventory. You have to force alz there. And the secret is working together. Nothing in life comes cheap, but with enough will power, you'l be the best.

I learned everything about farming from Flyby and RatzaTM(a.k.a [GM]Zaraki). Those are the best from cabalEU, and in particular Ratza made incredible improvements. This is simply my experience, from what i learned, from them.
I owe them everything.

**UPDATE**

A high alz set is actually the second best farming set and the cheapest(because naturaly it combines both a huge amount of % alz, medium 1slot and medium 2slot, which overall makes a difference), wile a high 2slot drop set beeing the first(note, high, and the most expensive), wile now, with the current updates, a pure 1slot drop set beeing the last, and i suggest no one attempts one.

Example of cheap alz set:

[Ring] of Seven Coins +4 - 20% Alz Drop Amount & 60% 1Slot Item Drop
[Ring] of Seven Coins +4 - 20% Alz Drop Amount & 60% 1Slot Item Drop
[Amulet] of Seven Coins +4 - 40% Alz Drop Amount & 60% 1Slot Item Drop

Earrings and bracelets ofc., if you have enough honor rank. Try to get +3, or +4, once you have enough rank and lvl.

30% Alz Drop Amount - armour, martial or battlesuit set, which one you prefer.
Gloves can not have % alz, so its your choise if you want some extra 2slot drop or vampiric to help you wile farming.


You have to know were to farm, and were the best results are. Ofc. its still based on luck, but why not turn a little % of that luck to you?


Aquaman47 is right. Never finish the Patren, Patren quest, its a good source of alz, and at high lvl, try to do it in a 2slot drop set, farming all the mobs there.

a little update.

---- best place for a alz set is in Undead Ground. Less income is in FR at Auto cannon's EX spot, but their's often a map drop wile you farm.
---- best place for a high 2slot drop set is in FR and PL.
